I will be moving to Dubai in a few weeks where all the new buildings are being built.
I've done my research about their beliefs, but my question is: Where do you go for the open minded. I know there are undergrounds, but how do you know who is CID? How can you live in Dubai being "YAG" (if your smart enough you will figure out what that means)? I'm 25 and not the typical yag man. anyway, any thoughts. I'm glad I found this forum. |

I may be in the same boat, have been in UAE/DU since Mon for work possibility which may come to fruition soon. I have heard mix means of finding out how they determine who you are, and being yag in DU. Having walked around the city for a few days now, several out people jump out, but most are conservative and slip by. Maybe can discuss a bit more.

In Costa Rica right now and making my way over there in a week or 2. I need to get in my yag stuff in now before going there and going somewhat cold turkey or back in the closet lol. Thanks for your input and would love to keep in touch, maybe we can start a network group.... I hear some people are doing that over there.

Hope you are enjoying your time in Costa Rica! Just back from dinner and drinks at Burj al Arab.
We stumbled upon the Zar Bar next to the hotel, that appears to have a higher concentration of yag people. Keep in mind that even though in DXB, work arounds for accessing internet sites so not as much cut off from the world. My email is astriker at astriker . com if you would like to continue this offline. All the best, Douglas |

Hi guys - new to this forum, and coming to DXB in a few weeks. Same boat as you chaps, but a little older - 40, but not typical
- how are you getting on? Any luck with somewhere to go? I'd been told Jules bar at the airport Meridian was pretty friendly on a Thursday night, but nothing else...

there always is, isn't there? after all, there's quite a lot of westerners living in Dubai and i'm sure they're not all "followy-follow". I was once in a pretty open nightclub, felt like back @ home (UK) for a couple of hours. Not that it was full of westerners only, but people were generally great... can't remember the name. was sorta drunk then, but quite wary of it..

in my experience in dubai, which is quite abundant, there is no place for the "open minded". but then again, what do you define as open minded?
